Cheap shots and pink helicopters

Authenticated photo of the unmanned aerial surveillance vehicle outside Senator Dianne Feinstein's house, June 15 2013. Image from Demotix.
We've previously noted how Senator Feinstein (R–Military-Industrial Complex) had a strange, not to say psychedelic, encounter, last summer, with an overly friendly airborne robot:
Sen. Dianne Feinstein says she once found a drone peeking into the window of her home — the kind of cautionary tale she wants lawmakers to consider as they look at allowing commercial drone use.... Feinstein said she encountered the flying robot while a demonstration was taking place outside her house. She said she went to the window to peek out — and “there was a drone right there at the window looking out at me.” (Politico)
It now seems, as Politico is (not exactly) reporting, that it was only the first blow in the Senator's war with the Central Intelligence Agency, and we have sourced some pictures of the incident here:

CIA operatives dressed as "Code Pink" "demonstrators" manned the anti-Feinstein surveillance op.

Bobby Jindal doesn't know what "generational" means:
Sixty-nine years after the American president traveled to the Crimean peninsula to capitulate to a Russian strongman, Barack Obama’s weakness is pushing the United States to another generational conflict with Moscow.
And which generation are we? Who's your daddy, Moscow?

Austin Ruse has those feelings of deep Christian goodness and mercy. The president of the so-called Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute expressed them on Wednesday, via Right Wing Watch:
That is the nonsense that they teach in women’s studies at Duke University, this is where she learned this. The toxic stew of the modern university is gender studies, it’s “Sex Week,” they all have “Sex Week” and teaching people how to be sex-positive and overcome the patriarchy. My daughters go to a little private religious school and we pay an arm and a leg for it precisely to keep them away from all of this kind of nonsense. I do hope that they go to a Christian college or university and to keep them so far away from the hard left, human-hating people that run modern universities, who should all be taken out and shot.
That's so classic, isn't it, how it's obvious to him that being "sex-positive" and "overcoming the patriarchy" are bad things. Anyhow Thursday he was explaining himself on the taking them out and shooting them angle (Huffington Post):
He defended his remarks the day before as a “figure of speech” and said Democrats make “mistakes when they get into the ballot box” because they’re “really dumb ... low-information voters.”
Which figure of speech would that be? I'm kind of low-information—I know, it's understatement. A dry way of saying what he really means, that they need to be burned at the stake.

Fundamentalist entertainment:

A sketch at the 2014 National Young Fundamentalist Conference held at the Clay Mills Road Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky featured the church's assistant pastor, Joseph Pickens, dressed as the actor Mr. T. To his astonishment, some people, not apparently the Young Fundamentalists at the conference but some presumably hostile YouTube viewers, found the blackface performance to be offensive. His pastor, Jeff Fugate, remarked:
“They said, ‘What are you doing with blackface?’ And I really didn’t know what they were talking about to be honest,” the pastor recalled. “I’m not trying to be ignorant, but I guess I am.”
Fugate said that the boxing skit was supposed to be “inspiring” and humorous to teens. Instead, Internet commenters accused Pickens of making Kentucky look bad.
“He is so hurt,” Fugate said. “I’m not a racist, and I sure am sorry if I’ve offended you or anybody.” (Raw Story)
I know, and isn't it amazing how thoughtlessly mean some people can be. I mean, darken up, people!

Charles Krauthammer hates a thug who invades another land. Krauthammer on Edward Snowden:
“I don't mind being lectured by Ron [Fournier] by the Fourth Amendment and privacy because I respect Ron,” Krauthammer said. “I don't want to be lectured by a traitor who speaks from a land that doesn't have a constitution or had one and it was entirely eviscerated by a thug who has just invaded another land.
Generally likes to wait ten or eleven years after the invasion?
