Snow point in pretending

Like an overeager surfer leaping on a wave that isn't really there, the National Review's Rich Lowry in his Kips Bay office couldn't wait for the snow disaster to start before he started denouncing it, to demonstrate that our new bloodthirsty Bolshevik mayor is also incompetent, issuing a plaintive tweet as the traffic inconsiderately continued to flow into the evening rush hour:

Murdoch's New York Post, as NRO's Alex Torre anxiously noted this morning, cooperated with the disaster premonitions (SIX count 'em SIX Post stories on the fiendish dictator de Blasio and his evil plots in a single day, including two for the weather), but the city's snow removal staff did not: it was a pretty vicious storm, and problematic because the temperature is too cold for the salt to be effective, but they were on top of the situation and no disaster occurred, except perhaps for young Dante de Blasio—according to my own high schooler, who has reason to know, every time it snows on a weekday Dante is besieged by Facebook messages and DMs by the thousands and tens of thousands begging him to use his presumptive influence on his father to declare a snow day, which the mayor coldly refused to do, New York kids being on the whole tougher than Rich Lowry.
Riverside and 80th.
Update:

Apparently it wasn't perfect, and where it wasn't perfect was in what used to be called the Silk Stocking district: The mayor sez,
“After inspecting the area and listening to concerns from residents earlier today, I determined more could have been done to serve the Upper East Side.”
Aww...
